University of Technology Organizes Anti-Drug Oath Taking Ceremony on Independence Day

In alignment with the “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” and the vision of a developed India free from drug addiction, the University of Technology, Jaipur, conducted an anti-drug oath-taking ceremony on Independence Day. The event, held on campus, aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction and inspire the community towards a healthier, addiction-free future.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome to the faculty members, followed by the Maa Saraswati Vandana by the students. The event was graced by the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Controller of Examinations, all Deans, Heads of Departments, and other distinguished guests.

While addressing the students, the coordinator highlighted the growing menace of drug addiction in society and emphasized the importance of collective action to combat this issue. He urged everyone to spread awareness and take a stand against drug abuse, aligning with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’s mission to free India from the clutches of substance abuse.

The program featured various activities, including thought-provoking dramas and impactful speeches presented by the university students, all centered around the theme of drug de-addiction. The event concluded with the university administration administering a de-addiction oath to the students, reaffirming their commitment to staying drug-free and contributing to a healthier society.

This initiative by the University of Technology, Jaipur, not only raises the importance of drug-free living but also demonstrates the institution’s dedication to shaping a better future for the nation.
