University of Technology Receives Rising Educators Award for its input to Youth Development & Education

The University of Technology was recently honoured with the Rising Educators Award for its significant contribution to youth development and education. 

The award was presented at the “Rising Youth: Pathway 2047 – Educators Shaping the Future” conference, hosted by the Rajasthan Youth Board, Government of Rajasthan. This event was held on 20 December 2024, with 350+ attendees, 30+ speakers and 100 Partners & Sponsors. 

Dr. Anoop Sharma, Registrar, received this prestigious award on behalf of the university, increasing its reputation. The chairman of University of Technology, Dr. Anshu Surana shared his views on the contribution of teachers in nation-building. He also stated his goals for Rajasthan to be developed and empowered by 2047. 

The main aim of the conference was to inspire educators with insights and tools to prepare Rajasthan’s youth for “ Viksit Bharat ” and “ Viksit Rajasthan ” by 2047. 

It was co-hosted by various influential government departments including the School Education Department, DoITC, Skill Development, Employment & Entrepreneurship (RSLDC), RIICO, Tourism, and the Higher & Technical Education Department. Bringing together a dynamic mix of policymakers, educators, and representatives from esteemed organizations such as UNFPA, UNDP, and UNICEF, this event also hosted chancellors, registrars and academic leaders for a collaborative day of insight and inspiration.

The award itself tells of the University of Technology’s dedication towards shaping youth’s future and directing them towards the right path through their guidance and education. It highlights the university’s commitment to fostering an environment of innovation and vision with students’ future brimming with opportunity, growth and perseverance.
